Intellias in the top five of the Family-friendly companies national rating

For the first time in Ukraine, the finalists of the Family-friendly companies national rating were determined. Intellias ranked fifth among all participating companies. The rating was organized by the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine and the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility.

The panel of experts evaluated policies and practices that promote gender equality in workplaces and help maintain work-life balance. Among the main criteria of the study were: companies’ corporate culture, workplace and schedule organization, availability of programs and activities of social and financial support of employees with families.

Experts acknowledged Intellias experience of simultaneously implementing several programs, which received excellent feedback from the company’s specialists. One of them is a flexible schedule that allows to plan working day according to business and personal needs. The company also supports mothers by sending a special Baby Box, offering additional days off and financial support.

Before the quarantine, Intellias specialists with children could use nurseries in Kyiv, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk offices. In winter, the nursery in Ivano-Frankivsk was used not only by local team members, but also by specialists from other Intellias offices who came for a vacation in the Carpathians.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Intellias has developed a number of programs aimed at overcoming the crisis, preserving the health of colleagues and adapting to new working conditions. The company organized vaccination for colleagues and their families. In addition, Covid-19 insurance was issued to all specialists.

Now the majority of Intellias professionals work from home. The company has developed a concept of IntelliSmartWorkplaces, according to which employees can choose the most convenient format for them: work from the office, from home or combine. Accordingly, all jobs in the office were divided into three types: hot desks, fixed desks and shared desks.

There is also an additional Mental Health Compensation Package, which includes full or partial compensation for therapy sessions. And the IntelliCare service, which allows specialists to visit a psychotherapist twice a quarter for free.

“We keep reminding people that our main value is acting humanely. We use this principle to guide us in our daily work and during the crisis, trying to provide the most comfortable conditions for professionals. And these efforts are successful, because now the level of loyalty and involvement of employees in the company’s life is one of the highest in our history. We continue to improve our working conditions and in the near future we will announce several more projects aimed at supporting women at Intellias”, said Roman Hapachylo, VP Talent Management at Intellias.

The company will continue to work on developing family support programs. After all, in difficult times, it is the business that must take responsibility for the well-being of its specialists.
