Odesa IT Family (est. 2020) is a brand new non-profit organization. Its activities are focused on developing the IT-industry of the Odesa region and augmenting its strong and positive image.
Odesa IT Family has created a unified platform where all participants have equal rights to stay in comfortable and mutually beneficial conditions, conducive to the development of IT businesses and the industry as a whole.
Currently, four Odessa IT companies have joined Odesa IT Family: Capgemini Engineering, Luxoft, DataArt, AB Soft, DIGIS, Intellias, AUTODOC, Akkerman, Provectus. The first community partner is UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group.
Odesa IT Family activities have set their sights on uniting the local IT-community. Thus, in the future it can have an impact on the creation of new IT-business opportunities in the region and implement the cutting-edge technologies in the region.
We want to see Odesa as the number 1 technological hub of Ukraine — a comfortable city for living, providing high quality, technical education, working and developing your IT-business or startup.
Becoming a member of Odesa IT Family means joining the largest IT platform in the South of Ukraine. Here, in our team with like-minded people, you will help in building a strong IT community, developing joint IT-projects, supporting technical education in the region and beyond.
Together with other strong companies in Odesa, we can be more than the sum of our parts.
Who can join the Odesa IT Family? All IT-companies and any other companies from related fields (business, education, etc.) that share our main values and are ready to make IT Odesa great!
Last month, we at Odesa IT Family launched a new project for designers. This is a series of workshops and meetings aimed at helping professionals create better products through synergy between technical and creative approaches.
We are finalizing the data collection for the third Odesa IT Family Research, which will help to better understand the current state of the technology industry in the Odesa region and determine the future development of the IT market. This is your opportunity to influence the future of the industry! We are analyzing the profiles of technology companies, educational institutions, as well as key characteristics and professional profiles of technology specialists.
The educational building of the Educational and Research Institute of Computer Engineering, Automation, Robotics and Programming of Odesa National Technological University was damaged as a result of an enemy drone attack.
Oksana Furman, HRD Citrus, presented the topic “How to start a career in retail and why it can be a good way to begin?” to students of the Faculty of Cybersecurity, Software Engineering and Computer Science of the International Humanitarian University.
Odesa IT Family was proud to be an invited guest at the presentation of the new project of the Odesa National Economic University “Commercialization of University Innovations”.
Together we raised funds for two tablets for our Defense Forces. This is one more example of how joint efforts bring real results for our defenders.
