Intellias Ranked Among the Five Biggest IT Exporters in Ukraine

Intellias has been listed among the five biggest exporters of IT products and services in the 50 Main Exporters of Ukraine 2022 rating by Forbes Ukraine.

This year, Forbes Ukraine analyzed IT industry representatives for the first time in its rating of top Ukrainian exporters. In preparing this year’s rating, Forbes asked the biggest Ukrainian companies to provide information about their export volume in 2022 or in the last known period of 2021. In order to ensure that every sector was represented, the rating included not the 50 biggest exporters overall, but from 5 to 10 biggest exporters in every sector.

Intellias provided Forbes Ukraine with information about its turnover in 2021 and 2022 and the export share in the given turnover. In particular, the total turnover of the Ukrainian office of Intellias global IT company, was US$130 million, and the export share of that turnover was 97%, or about US$126 million. The biggest market for Intellias IT products, technical services, and consulting services in 2022 was Western Europe – the DACH region and Great Britain, in particular, – which accounted for half of all exports. Another 31% of products and services were exported to the USA, 7% to countries in the Middle East, another 7% to Scandinavian countries, 2% to countries in Central and Eastern Europe, and 3% to countries in other regions.

In 2022, the company continued to implement its business globalization strategy. Apart from the Krakow office, which has been functioning since 2019, Intellias opened new development centers in Zagreb, Croatia; Sofia, Bulgaria; Lisbon and Porto, Portugal; and Malaga, Spain. The company is getting ready to open new offices in Colombia and India.

In spring 2022, Intellias acquired the IT company Digitally Inspired with headquarters near London, strengthening its presence in Great Britain and bringing Intellias closer to clients. As a result of M&A, the company expanded its retail expertise, which complements the company’s long-standing expertise in financial services and insurance, mobility, telecom and media, and other domains. Currently, 180 million cars and 10 global brands use software solutions developed by the Intellias team. Overall, over 2 billion people use Intellias solutions.

In 2023, the company expects to accelerate its growth in the US and continue actively developing offices abroad. Securing business continuity in Ukraine will be another significant task.

In 2022, Intellias was ranked first in a Forbes Ukraine rating of 30 Sustainable Private Companies of Ukraine. The rating included businesses that have kept developing and providing workplaces despite the challenging economic situation in the country.

The company has been able to achieve such impressive results due to the effective implementation of its Business Continuity Plan, the support from clients and partners, and the coordinated work of the team.
