What kind of business education is needed in Odesa region?
On March 13, Odesa hosted an important roundtable discussion on the development of business education in the Odesa region. The event brought together representatives of local business, government, and educational institutions to discuss the needs of business education and the challenges faced by the region. Odesa IT Family took an active part in the discussion.
Under the moderation of economist and educator Pavlo Sheremeta, the participants discussed the need to adapt curricula to the real needs of business and modern technologies. As practice shows, there is a problem of communication between educational institutions and business, which leads to insufficient training of personnel for effective work in the market.
It was also noted that business education should focus on such key aspects as productivity, innovation, and technology, which are the main drivers of economic development.
Odesa IT Family took an active part in the discussion in the person of Mykhailo Lobachev, Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics at the National University “Odesa Polytechnic”. He emphasized the importance of modern programs for training personnel in IT, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
This event is part of the BizON project aimed at developing and transforming business education in Ukraine, as well as establishing a dialogue between business, government, and educational institutions to create effective training programs.
We believe that such initiatives will help develop the region by creating qualified personnel who will be able to influence the innovative development and economic growth of Odesa region.
