Meeting with Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine

CEO of Odesa IT Family Ekaterina Solovey and other association leaders and regional IT clusters, thanks to the IT Ukraine Association, met with Mykhailo Fedorov, the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The goal was to jointly determine the vectors of work for the development of the industry, discuss problematic issues for the community, and help resolve them.

The focus of the meeting:
supporting stable conditions for the industry’s operation
joint initiatives for the development of defense technologies
human capital development
global promotion of the Ukrainian technological sector

At Odesa IT Family, we believe in synergy and are convinced that together we are stronger and more effective, which is why it is important to maintain constant dialogue between business and government.

The share of IT in the country’s GDP is almost 5%. Last year, the industry contributed 20.8 billion hryvnias in taxes to the state budget. This is 3.1 billion hryvnias more than in 2022. One IT specialist who works creates and maintains almost three jobs in the economy.

Additionally, IT specialists actively contribute to meeting the needs of the front with their donations. According to the IT Research Ukraine study, IT professionals donate about $80 million monthly, which is nearly 3 billion hryvnias.

We thank Mykhailo, the IT Ukraine Association, and colleagues from the clusters for this important meeting!
