Odesa IT Family in Barcelona!

CEO Kateryna Solovei is on a business trip to Barcelona as part of the international IT Bridge project, which connects Ukrainian IT clusters with European partners.

Together with colleagues from Kharkiv IT Cluster and IT Dnipro Community, we are exploring the experience of European technological ecosystems and building new connections to advance Ukrainian IT on the international level.

Yesterday, the team visited the Barcelona Supercomputing Center — one of the most powerful research institutions in Europe. It is home to a quantum computer used for studies in artificial intelligence, climate modeling, medicine, and other areas shaping the technologies of the future.

Throughout three days filled with meetings, we are building “bridges” to attract business, investment, and partnership projects.

This exchange of experience enables Ukrainian clusters to understand how mature European ecosystems function and to adapt best practices for developing regional IT communities in Ukraine.

It’s truly inspiring to see how innovation becomes reality — and to share this experience with our community!

The IT Bridge project is funded by the European Union through the Single Market Programme under grant agreement No. 101196018.

Views and opinions expressed are those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA). Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.
