Educational projects from Odesa IT Family

In April of last year, Odesa IT Family initiated a series of career orientation lectures for high school students and students of Mechnikov Institute. The goal was to help them learn more comprehensively about all professions in the IT field. In October, the project expanded, with other universities joining, and now we not only provide lectures but also conduct an English Speaking Club and organize scientific and technological conferences.

Throughout the project’s existence, we have covered topics such as:
 “Modern Technological Trends”
“Cybersecurity – Harmful vs. Beneficial, What’s the Difference?”
 “Emotional Intelligence in Leadership”
“Who is an HR, and what roles exist in the HR department?”
“What is an interface, and why is it used? HCI in interaction design.”
“Choosing the first programming language. What’s essential and what’s secondary?”
 “DevOps: Principles”
And many more. Over the project’s duration, we have conducted 15 seminars!

More than 1300 students have participated in educational projects by Odesa IT Family!

Companies that have joined our project include Provectus , DataArt , Intellias , Capgemini Engineering , Brightech , Ubisoft , Sigma Software Group, Languagewire, Luxoft, Beetroot.
