The IT WAVE conference took place

On Friday 13th September, we gathered at the 9th IT WAVE conference, where our wonderful speakers shared valuable experiences on various aspects of communication.

Irina Tischenko shared her experience of promoting Odesa National Economic University online. Anna Melnychuk emphasized the key components of the perfect story: vulnerability, authority, and the moment of insight. Oksana Kononova, speaking about IT in the media, noted that the media market no longer exists and shared tips on what to focus on to maintain and develop the brand. Oleg Shaparenko spoke about how the war changed communications – relevant topics (volunteering, Armed Forces of Ukraine, charity, supporting the country), cautious topics (humor and holidays), and inappropriate topics (speculating with symbols). Mariana Lylyk demonstrated the successful rebranding and transition to the globally recognized Capgemini Engineering on the example of Lohika. Nata Kuchanska shared the latest HR trends – skills and internal mobility, productivity and flexible work models, AI usage, and organizational dynamics – and how they impact company branding. Olena Teterevyatnikova, based on the example of UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, showcased a successful branding example. Oksana Akkerman impressed us with examples of failed communication cases that led to serious reputational risks.

The event was moderated by Nadiia Novashytska!
