Hillel IT School took first place in the Web Design category at the Ukrainian Business Award 2025. The final ranking included ten Ukrainian IT schools, which were evaluated based on their curricula, student outcomes and feedback, instructors’ professional experience, the capabilities of their learning platforms, and the career support they provide.
In compiling the ranking, the organizers also used information from open-source analytics platforms, including Clarity Project, Serpstat, and YouControl.
What Was Evaluated
One of the key criteria was how closely the curricula aligned with the current needs of the IT job market. The evaluation also considered instructors’ hands-on industry experience and how students applied what they had learned – whether they worked on real-world projects, developed new skills, transitioned into new professional roles, found employment, or achieved other goals that had led them to pursue further education.
Graduate feedback and satisfaction were also taken into account, along with the functionality of each school’s learning platform and the availability of additional student support, including assistance with finding a job.
“Studies like this not only highlight industry leaders but also reflect the development of IT education in Ukraine. Our school’s goal remains unchanged: to provide people with up-to-date knowledge and training for professions that are in demand, and to prepare specialists who can fulfill their professional potential and whose expertise companies and businesses can genuinely rely on,” said Vadym Drumov, CEO and Co-Founder of Hillel IT School.
From Learning to the First Job
Today, Hillel IT School offers programs across more than 48 fields, ranging from IT and web design to marketing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and business. Hillel Max, a separate platform offering on-demand video courses, is also part of the school’s educational ecosystem.
The learning experience extends beyond classes. Students learn from instructors who are active industry professionals and can access the school’s career resources both during and after their studies. These include support with CV preparation and interview preparation, access to job listings, and opportunities to build professional connections.
Over the past 12 years, more than 80,000 students have completed programs at Hillel IT School. More than 300 industry professionals from technology companies are involved in teaching. At the same time, the Hillel team continues to develop its own learning management system (LMS) and other EdTech solutions to support the educational process.
Not the School’s First UBA Recognition
First place in the Web Design category continues a series of recognitions Hillel IT School has received from the Ukrainian Business Award. The school has previously been recognized in categories related to programming education and QA training.
In 2025, web design joined the list of Hillel IT School fields recognized by the Ukrainian Business Award. It is one of more than 48 fields in which the school currently offers educational programs.
