What should not be done?
- very bright CVs
- overload
- unreadable
- too long (2 pages without much work experience is already long)
- incomplete resume (without necessary information — education, experience)
- own assessment of one’s skills which is often overestimated (it is better to leave it to others to assess during a technical interview)

Who is a Delivery Manager?
It’s basically the same Project Manager, but with an added focus on the output of what the team delivers. The task of the position is to be sure that the project is successful, it provides the client with what he wants and participates in additional activities.
Key topics of responsibility:
- Leadership
- Development of people
- Communication / Presentation
- Conflict management
- Decision-making
- Time management
- Team management
- Project management
- Management of software engineering
Responsibilities related to the project:
- Project Governance — coordination of all aspects related to structures (who works how, who is in charge of what, how to build communication).
- Scope Management — what needs to be done and which task is the highest priority.
- Schedule Management — how much time we have, how much we need — combine it and understand how to move.
- Profitability Management — the responsibility to ensure that this work brings money.
- Team Management — how the team works, whether everyone is in their place and coping with their duties.
- Communications Management — communications planning, managing communications during project implementation to ensure that it works according to plan.
- Risk Management — consider in advance all the threats that can interfere with the project, as well as a plan to solve them.
- Engineering Excellence — developing a project quality policy, defining safety standards and ensuring engineering practices that promote engineering excellence.
